Artificial Intelligence? Or Emotional Human Intelligence?

Hello my dear readers,
Today, while many thoughts were quickly passing through my mind, I realized something: I am afraid.
Do you know what scares me?
I am afraid of getting trapped in the world of artificial intelligence. That is why I try not to use it too much. If I want to research something, I still use Google, Wikipedia, or sometimes I go to the nearest library. Sometimes I spend hours there, and sometimes only a short time if I am busy.
During that process, while moving through many different sources of information, I notice that my mind becomes richer with new knowledge.
What made me think about this topic today is children. I read a social media post about students in Türkiye using artificial intelligence to do their homework, and many people were speaking about it as if it were completely normal.
I do not currently have a child in school, so this subject is not part of my daily life, and I have not researched how much AI is allowed in schools abroad.
But in my personal opinion, if a child is using artificial intelligence to complete homework or research assignments, I find that frightening.
The child may reach the final answer quickly, but without going through the important process of curiosity, searching, questioning, learning, and discovering information. I wonder what kind of future adults this way of learning may create.
I believe artificial intelligence may slowly weaken human creativity. I also believe that one day AI may take over many of the jobs people do today.
How? Very simply. It may slowly start thinking for us, until we stop thinking deeply ourselves.
It is similar to using a wheelchair all the time instead of walking.
After a while, the legs become weak because they are no longer being used. I think the human mind works the same way. If we stop researching, questioning, and learning on our own, and instead ask AI for every answer, we may save time, but our minds may slowly become lazy.
The same thing applies to writing, art, and creativity. AI may write texts, create graphics, or draw pictures very quickly. But something created from human emotions and from a unique human mind can never truly be the same as something produced by a machine.
Human work may not always be perfect, but it is original and personal.
It reminds me of handwriting. Handwriting is never perfect, but it carries the spirit of the person who wrote it. Printed text may look cleaner and more perfect, but it does not carry the same soul.
The same is true for beauty today. Everywhere we look, we see faces shaped by the same beauty standards. But can any of those artificial faces truly replace natural beauty?
Of course, I am not against technology. Being against technology today would be as meaningless as being against electricity, refrigerators, or washing machines in the past. Technology can be very useful when used correctly. For example, artificial intelligence can help people understand medical test results and maybe even reduce overcrowding in hospitals. That can be something very positive.
There is so much more to say about this subject because today almost every part of life has been touched by AI.
Even stories and fairy tales once had their own unique spirit. They were not perfect, but they were original, emotional, and full of personality. I still remember my grandmother’s stories, told in her broken Turkish mixed with Ladino Spanish.
The sound of those stories still remains in my ears.
In short, do not let the creative person living inside you become completely dependent on artificial intelligence. Let technology do its job, but let us not lose our creativity, our emotions, or our spirit as human beings.
May creativity always stay with you.
